Sarah and Dave were married on Back Beach Crowdy Head on the 1st of November 2014 by celebrant Debra Steber.
It was a hive of activity where the girls were getting ready with only a fairly small house accommodating the 5 bridesmaids, 5 junior bridesmaids and of course the bride. Sarah was flat-out trying to organise the busy household but a few MOET’s soon had her a little more relaxed and when she walked out in her wedding dress everyone went “WOW”. After a quick visit to her Grandmother at Wingham it was time to load up the mini bus and head for Crowdy.
When I arrived the boys were chillin on the beach having a few beers. The wind was fairly strong but the sun was shining. As the bridal party made the way down onto the beach the junior bridesmaids each held a chalkboard with messages for the guests and Dave to read. As the surfers rode the waves in the background the vows were said and over quite quickly before the deal was sealed with a kiss and the new Mr and Mrs Martin walker back down the aisle to the cheers of their family and friends.
We stayed at the beach for a few photos and decided to head back towards Mondrook because of the brewing storms. After a few photos at the family’s farm, the sound of thunder in the distance had us hurrying through the photos. The reception was at the Mondrook Hall and as a beautiful sunset finished the day it was time for the party to get started. When it came to the throwing of the bouquet, Sarah put her skills as a personal trainer to the test having all the single ladies limber up before she tossed a dozen or so single flowers into the waiting girls so that everyone got one.
Congratulations Sarah and Dave. Thanks for having me as your photographer and I hope you enjoy these photos.~ Shane
