” Caitlin and Kepler’s Wedding Day ” | Forster Wedding Photographer | Shane Chalker Photography

Kepler and Caitlin were married on the 1st of May 2015 by wedding celebrant Geoff Gauci.

What an amazing day it was, the girls looked amazing all 9 of them in different white dresses for something different. There were tears and plenty of laughs as the girls got ready and I could already tell this was going to be an afternoon to remember. Caitlin’s wedding dress was truly stunning by the world renowned designer Galia Lahav .

As the ceremony time neared the rain, which was forecast to be HEAVY all day stopped and even a little ray of sunshine appeared as Kepler was escorted though the beautiful family property to the unique garden area where the vows were to be exchanged. As the bridesmaids appeared one by one down the aisle, most of them crying, the anticipation of the bride coming into view was huge and the large crowd were not disappointed as she entered the amazing bush cathedral, escorted by her mum. Kepler looked so proud and before too long their marriage was sealed with a kiss (and a little bit of a bum grab by Kep).

As a light sun shower fell from the sky the couple were announced to their guests to plenty of cheers and whistles. This was to be the last of the rain for the day.

Kep is a fan of cars with rotor engines and had organized an impressive display of motor vehicles including his own and some from Newcastle so we went to the top of Cape Hawke lookout to get some photos,  before heading into town to get some shots by the bridge,  as a special request from Caitlin. Then up to the top of One Mile sand hill where the cloudy skies made for a dramatic background.

Back at the reception, which was in a huge marquee with a clear roof the party was well underway. The speeches had plenty of emotion with extremely teary moments to the loudest outburst of laughter.

It was a great privilege to be part of your amazing day Kep and Caitlin and I wish you all the happiness for the future. ~ Shane
