Emma and James were married on a windy but sunny Blackhead Headland on the 4th of October 2014 by celebrant Cathy Keech.
Emma was all smiles when I arrived at the house where she was getting ready for her big day. The room was abuzz with the usual last minute organising. Emma had beautiful button bouquet’s unlike anything I had seen before with charms, jewels and flowers all mixed together.
It was a casually dressed groom and groomsmen I found on the headland in light shirts and shorts which fitted the scene for the ceremony perfectly. James looked nervous as the two old blue Holden’s dropped off the girls and before he knew it, it was time for him to “Kiss the bride”.
After a quick group photo on the headland it was time to head off for the formal photos around the Blackhead area which were a load of fun.
At the reception, which was held at Blackhead surf club, the party was well underway once the bridal waltz was complete with a full dance floor as I was leaving.
Thank you for having me to capture your special memories on your big day and I hope you enjoy this sneak peek at these few photos. ~ Shane
