Jewel and Jason were married down at Saltwater reserve on the 30th August 2014. It was a great natural setting for their ceremony. Keeping true to her indigenous background, a smoking ceremony was performed as Jewel walked down the aisle as part of a cleansing ritual and it also wards off bad and evil spirits before a special event.
Wayne Tyree performed a beautiful ceremony as the rain lightly fell on the guests but no one went for cover watching the couple perform their vowels and sign the certificates. Jewels Dad made a life size LOVE sign which was great for some photos.
After a few photos at Back beach Saltwater it was in the cars for a drive to Crowdy Head where we finished up with the photos with a visit from a curious echidna before the bridal party went back to Harrigans All Seasons for celebrations that I’m sure would have went well into the night.
Thank you Jewel and Jason for letting me be a part of your special day and I’m sure the future will be full of love and happiness for you guys. ~ Shane
