Karen and Jason were married on the shore of Wallis Lake at the Sundowner Tiona conference centre by celebrant Cathy Keech on the 18th October 2014.
The girls got ready at the amazing rooftop penthouse of the Sevan apartments which have incredible lake and ocean views which made for a great backdrop for some photos before leaving for the Tiona conference centre.
The boys were all laughs when I arrived and this didn’t change until I left late into the evening. Best man “Rusty” was set up big time during the ceremony with someone removing the rings from the box he had without him knowing. The look on his face when it came to his one big job of the day to hand the rings over and they weren’t there was priceless. He seemed relieved as he realised it was a prank, I’m sure revenge will be sweet for him one day in the future.
The bridal party then loaded into a minibus and we came back into Forster to do some photos in the home town of the bride and groom. We had plenty of fun and a beautiful afternoon, the highlight for me was having some great light up on North Onemile sand hill while Humpback whales breached in the bay to keep the bridal party entertained.
The crowd went crazy as the bride and groom entered the reception and the party got underway. There were a few great speeches but Jason’s pop stole the show with a great honest speech that had laughter ringing through the air. The memory of his speech will be remembered for a long time I’m sure.
Thanks guys for having me to create the memories of your big day and I hope you enjoy these few photos.~ Shane
